Has anyone used the Wanscam HW0025 H.264 PTZ with SecuritySpy?

I have found MJPEG strings used on lesser software for the PC, but not H.264, and wonder if they work or not. And of course if the PTZ works.

Anyone?

    Hi Paul, please try the "IPS" device type in SecuritySpy with the "H.264 RTSP" Format setting. does this work?

    Hi Ben, as ever thanks for answering in person.

    I haven't bought this camera yet but have seen one at a very reasonable price to replace one of my outdoor static's.

    Do you think it likely to work, should I gamble? I could always sell it on I suppose.

    Hi Paul,

    There is a good chance it will work, however there is a risk that it won't, so I would advise you to to stick to cameras already on our list of compatible cameras. If you decide to take the gamble though, please report back!
