HQ Preview uses old Quicktime plugin

The quicktime plugin has been disabled by Apple in the latest Safari v12.
The HQ preview doesn't work in Chrome

Which plugin or preference change is necessary to enable the High Quality previews?

  Drat- when I checked the FAQs I was searching for different terms and missed this.
  
  Changing the audio codec to AAC fixed it. Many thanks!
