Is it possible to get SS to record from a PTZ camera while it gently pans left and right between certain presets?

    I think you are referring to an "Auto Patrol" feature, where the camera will continually move between certain preset positions, is this correct? This can be achieved using a simple AppleScript that tells SecuritySpy to move the camera periodically - please see the "Pan/Tilt/Zoom Auto-Patrol" section on the SecuritySpy AppleScript Examples page.
