Is it possible for SecuritySpy to connect to a drone for remote inspection? Or maybe it's pointless, and one should just do it independently?

    I don't think so - SecuritySpy needs a reliable IP network connection to a camera, and this won't be possible with a drone I don't think.

    Checking to see if a year later this has changed. I saw a prototype (Sunflower) that is an interesting concept. Current drone manufacturers have developed or developing autolaunch and return protocols. It would be cool if SecuritySpy acted as the trigger and hub for these protocols. Use Case: Motion detected by more than one cameras (to reduce false positives), launches the drone based on camera location, capture perimeter for a set amount of time then return.
