SecuritySpy on 2nd Mac authentication problem
I know I've easily set it up remote viewing in the past, but I'm now having difficulty.
I have version 4.1.2 installed on both Macs. On the remote (unlicensed) Mac, when I try to add a camera using the "SecuritySpy" profile, I constantly get "Authentication Error - Check username and password". The only way I can get it to work is to remove all accounts (to disable authentication) under the web preferences on the "server" Mac.
I know I have the username and password correct; the cameras view fine using a web browser or the iPhone app.

I think this may be a bug with H.264 streaming in 4.1.2, that should be fixed in the latest beta version of SecuritySpy (currently 4.1.3b8). Please install this on both Macs and let me know if the problem is fixed.

Yes, that fixed it if I manually select the Input or stream number. Excellent!
The Choose Stream button doesn't pull up a list, though. It might be related to the fact that I don't have the HTTP web option checked (only the HTTPS) on the "server". In the "client", If I check the Use SSL option, I get an Error 61. If I un-check the Use SSL option, I get an Error 800. -
Great!
As for the stream list, it seems that the SecuritySpy client is not using the correct port for the connection to obtain the list. I'll make sure this is fixed for the next update (for now, if you manually specify the port under Preferences -> Cameras -> Device - default 8001 - then this should work).
