Control4 and SecuritySpy

I saw there is a driver out there for SS and C4. Does anyone here use it? I can't get much info from the website, so I am looking for some feedback. Not a lot of feedback thus far from the control4 forums.

    I have Security Spy integrated into my Control4 project. I only have a couple of issues with driver. As a home user without access to the full Control4 director, I have found that I am not able to change the server IP properly in the Home Edition of the director, which will now require me to have my installer come out and do some programming. I have changed my server hardware and while using the same IP address for the Security Spy software and now I do not have a connection to the cameras from the Control4 Driver.

    The other issue I had was that the driver was slow to access the camera, not painstakingly slow but some times enough to get on my nerves.

    What are the benefits? The cameras are directly integrated into my C4 project and show up on the OSD, my phone, etc. Just wondering if there's anything out there for me to have my installer do the work.

    The cameras appear under the security icon in the OSD on TV, the Control4 in-wall controllers, and PC-MAC application. I have just tried with the IOS version of the Control4 software on my phone (I am not on the latest version on phone or director) and I am not able to see the cameras.

    I do find my self using the in-wall Control4 screens to look at my cameras when I am not near the TV or computer

    What version of the C4 OS are you on? I've been able to get my Hikvision cameras to show up on the OSD natively as C4 has really beefed up their driver support post v2.7 (I think).

    I don't have any in wall controllers, so covered there. I believe the OSD requires mjpeg for the video while iOS looks for H.264.

    I am well in need of an OS upgrade. I am still running 2.5.1. I really do need my installer to come out and upgrade my OS. There is so much additional functionality I am missing out on. I have not really had a problem with my OS hence the reason why I have not had my installer out to upgrade.
