Hi

I have a Tenvis IPRobot 3, and for some reason I cannot get the PTZ controls to work at all.

Is there any way I can debug what is going on, or verify the URLs that SS is calling to move the camera?

    Hi - make sure you have entered the camera's admin username and password in the Video Device Settings in SecuritySpy. Some cameras will give you a video stream without admin authentication, but require this to control PTZ.

    Also make sure you are using the latest version of SecuritySpy.

    Does this resolve the problem?

    That wasn't it, but while I was in there I realised that I hadn't set the HTTP port.

    The Tenvis uses 8001 for http, but RTSP is the default port.

    That explains why video was getting through but no control.

    Great to hear you found the problem, I didn't immediately think of that as most cameras use default ports (80 for HTTP). We'll remember this for the future, in case any one else has the same problem.
