Email capture rate
I have my email set to send 2 images, but I'd like them to be a few seconds appart.
The Capture Rate option in the mail settgin seems to be locked to the same value as the number of frames, so If I want 2 images, it sets it to 2 FPS. If I change the value is is reset to the same as the number of frames after I save.
I'd really like to set it to 0.25 FPS, so the image are a few seconds apart. Is there a way to do that?

Sorry, it seems theres a problem with this particular control in the current release version that is preventing it from working correctly. This is now fixed in the latest beta version of SecuritySpy (currently 6.5b4). Please download and install this version and confirm that it now works as expected.

It worked when I tested it last night, but today all the emails only have a single image.
Is there another setting I need to adjust to make sure 2 images are always included?

This is determined by the "Number of images per email" setting at Settings > Email. Can you double-check that this is set to 2?

It was 2, so I tried setting it to 4. That seems to get me at least 2, sometimes 3, never 4.

If you are using our email relay service, there is a 2 MB limit on the size of the emails that will be sent, so perhaps you are hitting this limit. To avoid this, you could turn down the JPEG image encoding quality setting under Settings > Compression, or you could choose a smaller image size under Settings > Email. Or, to remove this limit altogether, you could switch to using your own SMTP server to send emails rather than the relay service.

Ah. Thanks. That is probably the issue.
I'll try using an SMPT server this weekend to see if that helps.
I like having the full rez images by email, just incase I loose the footage. I still have not set up an ftp offsite location to copy stuff to.

With modern high-res cameras, perhaps 2 MB is now too low. We'll increase this to 4 MB in the next update.
