Feature request: PTZ window positioning
I would really like it if I could get the PTZ window to behave.
Security Spy 5.5.8 / macOS 12.6.3
Steps:
Press command-0 to show All Cameras. Window is configured to fill screen east to west 100%.
Click PTZ button.
Result: it appears offscreen to the right
Drag All Cameras window to the left, PTZ window sticks to the top right edge of the All Cameras window and becomes visible.
Click on PTZ window title bar and drag it down below All Cameras somewhere.
Drag All Cameras window back to the right where I want it.
Result: PTZ window position snaps back to the top right edge of All Cameras, offscreen again.
Feature request: Let me float the PTZ window wherever I put it, and make it stay there. :)

If you want the video window full screen, it's best to press the green button in the title bar to make it properly fill the screen, rather than resizing it so that it approximately fills the screen. In this state (with a properly full-screen window), clicking the PTZ button will show the PTZ panel visibly on the screen towards the top-right edge. So perhaps this achieves what you want?

Noop. :) I currently have 3 cams (4 cam license). At certain hours, I like the window sized so all 3 are lined up next to each other in a single row 1,2,3 at top or bottom of one of my monitors, leaving usable space on the remainder of that monitor for other apps. So the PTZ window always appears off screen.
Even if I double click the title bar to fill the screen as you suggest, and then click PTZ button, it appears towards the top-right edge of the all cameras window, barely visible, 95% off the screen. Then I have to drag it into view so I can click the preset buttons I want to access.
Why not just make PTZ behave like any other window, and stay wherever the user puts it? You can still make the PTZ window constrained to the bounds of available monitors so it won't get lost if the users monitor configuration changes.

can u make it expand inside video window instead of outside when in fullscreen ben?

OK, what we'll do is to modify the behaviour to detect all cases where the PTZ panel would be shown offscreen (or largely offscreen) and to then position it inside the host window rather than outside. And, like you say, it's probably a good idea that it if the user moves it to a particular position, it should stay there even if the host window is moved. We'll see if we can do this for the next update.
Incidentally, double-clicking the window's title bar doesn't put it into full screen mode; it just resizes it as large as possible. You will see that if you press the green button in the title bar, this puts the window into full screen mode, and in this situation, the PTZ panel will appear onscreen when opened.
