PTZ presets - broken again?

Hi;

I've had the bug pop up again where new PTZ locations are not saving in V 5.5.2. Existing PTZ locations work fine, but when I try to save a new one over top or to a blank location, it fails to save.

I have two cameras; both are Amcrests. One is an IP2M-841and the other is an IP2M-866W. PTZ within the camera IP portals and IOS are both blank/disabled.

Any suggestions on how to regain the ability to save locations again in SS are appreciated.

    v5.5.2 is quite old now - the first thing to try would be to update to the latest version of SecuritySpy.

    Next, try both the Amcrest and the ONVIF profile in turn (selectable under Preferences - Cameras - Device). You may find that one of them works for presets while the other doesn't.

    Just to confirm, to save a preset in SecuritySpy, hold the alt (option) key on the keyboard and click one of the preset buttons. Presets saved by other means (e.g. via the camera's own web interface, or other software) won't be accessible to SecuritySpy.
