Which one of these codecs do i choose for my dahua ipcam?

AAC is the best one to use. And, increasing the sampling frequency to 16000 will give you significantly better quality than 8000.

I can't get my IPC-Color4K-X-3.6MM to transmit audio through its speaker from SS.

Does 2-way audio work with Safari and the IP address ?

No it doesn't work with safari. The button doesn't appear, but on windows in IE compatibility mode the icon does appear and I can speak through the speaker. It doesn't work with SS.
I have a hikvision cam that does work to speak through speaker with SS.

Could you please email us at support@bensoftware.com, and include a debug file (SecuritySpy menu > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop) and we we will help you directly with this.
