Analyze reason for motion alarm

Hi!

On three out off 44 cams i have regular alarms without finding out what the reason is.

All of them are indoor and there is no motion at all.

Is there a chance to find out what triggers them?

Are u sure there’s nothing that looks like a face?

  • Definetly not...

One is an abandonded office, the other a garage with now windows, absolutely dark...

The first thing to check is that you are using the latest version of SecuritySpy. Next, check the motion detection settings, specifically that the sensitivity is around 50, and the trigger duration setting is 1s or longer. Next, check the frame rate at which these cameras are sending their video streams - this should be at least 5fps for effective motion detection.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, could you please email us a couple of these movie files to demonstrate? Please make sure that there is a pre-capture time of a few seconds so that the point of the trigger is included in the file. If the files are too large to send by email you can use wetransfer.com to send them.
