Connection Failed - Macbook goes to sleep

It seems when my Macbook goes to sleep, I'm unable to connect via my iphone app. But when I wak the macbook back up iot connects fine. Any thoughts why?

    In order for SecuritySpy to operate, it has to be running on a Mac that is awake. When you sleep the Mac, (almost) all processing on that Mac stops, and SecuritySpy cannot function. This is one reason why a MacBook is not the ideal Mac for SecuritySpy if it being use for other purposes and being moved around, if you need SecuritySpy to operate continuously.

    I figured it had something to do with the Macbook. My other Security Spy on my iMac has always worked fine. I just got another iMac to use instead of the MacBook. And will be switching it out soon.

    Hi Jim, sounds good - an iMac is more suitable as a SecuritySpy server.
