Will SwiftCapture capture from USB source?

I need to capture video via USB. I’m feeding an s-video feed from an older camera via a USB converter and then to my Mac. Before I buy Swift Capture I want to make sure it will work and that it will recognize the USB input. Thanks.

    This depends what your S-video converter device is - these kinds of devices aren't used much anymore, and most of them (e.g. Elgato, StarTech, Ezcap etc.) are designed for older macOS system versions and won't run on modern setups. What is the make/model of this converter device?

    The one device that will work with SwiftCapture is the (now discontinued) Blackmagic Intensity. This has an S-video input and either a USB or Thunderbolt output to connect to the Mac.
