FTP instead of local drive for capture?

I have an FTP that I had been doing video uploads to after saving locally. Is there a way to skip the local drive and upload to my ftp drive? (Note, ftp drive is located on my LAN and not the cloud)

  • I'm afraid not - SecuritySpy requires a fast local drive that is mounted on the Mac for recording. This just wouldn't work with most FTP servers. Even though your FTP server is local, so the speed should be fine, FTP is quite a simple protocol that does not offer important functionality that SecuritySpy uses for many of its features (file management and automatic deletion, efficient file searches for the Browser and web interface, and file metadata (tags, dates) that are used for various things).
