Hi Ben

This was just announced so I'm sure you won't have an answer but just thinking out loud if SecuritySpy will be able to work on Apple's new HomeView?

Thanks

Looks like a nice device! Good to see Apple is giving their home automation users some upgrades.

It's too soon for full details, but early indications are that there is no app store so you can't load third-party apps onto to the device itself, but apps on your phone may be accessible from the HomeView screen if your phone is close enough (source: MacRumors - HomeView Runs Third-Party Apps From Your iPhone or iPad).

We'll keep an eye on this, and if any modifications are needed to our iOS app to support this we'd be keen to make them.

    That’s cool thanks

I’m surprised by the screen size though, 7 inches seems tiny these days

might in the end work like Apple Watch with respect to Apps,

interesting that ADT will do installs for wall mounted HomeView. Apple probably doesn't want to take ownership of anything except AI cloud service that may accompany some of its features.
