Updating SecuritySpy 6.2 to 6.6

Hi...

I'm currently running SS 6.2 on my server Mac and on my view-only Macs.

I found the page where I can download 6.6. But before I do that I'd like to know how the version on my server Mac gets updated from 6.2 to 6.6.

Is there a special procedure of steps I need to follow?

    The easiest way to update is via the in-app option at Settings > Registration.

    But there is no harm in installing the new version manually:

    • Quit SecuritySpy
    • Download the latest release
    • From the downloaded disk image, copy SecuritySpy to your Applications folder, replacing the old version
    • Open it from your Applications folder.

    Thanks! I found it in Registration and it went smoothly. Camera FPS performance also increased - a nice plus.

    Still looking forward to soon replacing my 2019 Intel Mac Mini with an M4 Mini for even better FPS and a much lower power consumption.
