Feature Request: Send email/notifications when....

a video exceeds a certain amount of recording time. Let's say on a windy day, sometimes a long video file gets recorded. Would like SS severt to notifry somehow that a video file has recorded for more than so and so time. That way we can take action

    Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not sure how universally useful such a feature would be. Instead, it would be better to try to tweak your settings to prevent this from happening in the first place - the primary way to do this is to enable the AI object detection, which can screen out most false-positives. The other way is to mask off areas of the image that have frequently-moving items like swaying tree branches and so on. If you want some more specific advice please feel free to email us and include a (short) example false-capture movie, along with screenshots of your current trigger and motion detection settings.
