Some error in forum editor

There is an error in this writer editor when using emoji.

As you all know using the "Ctrl + Left/Right arrows" moves the text cursor word by word instead of letter-by-letter.

So, the issue is here. If i use any emoji🤨 and the text cursor is anywhere before that emoji. Then when i use this shortcut "Ctrl + Right arrow" to move the text cursor to the right, it vanishes upon reaching to the emoji and then i can't enter the text. The only option left after that is to use mouse click to set the text cursor again.

But it works fine while going backwards.

Has anyone faced this issue? I don't like using mouse while typing and use shortcut keys to arrange everything.

    That's strange, I've tested this and it seems to work for me. Are you referring to the alt/option key on the Mac? Because this is the modifier with the arrow keys that moves left/right per word. The fact that you mention Ctrl suggests to me that you may be on a Windows PC, is that the case? In any case, it's up to the web browser to handle this, I don't think it's an issue with the forum.
