Mac Pro 6,1 (trashcan) + Opencore Legacy Patcher 0.62 + Ventura 13.3 (No Go, Yet)
I did the experiment so you don't have to. Whereas Opencore Legacy Patcher works very well for letting my older Macs run Ventura 13.3, don't try to do it with a Mac Pro 6,1 just yet for your SS machine.
This is not a fault of SS, but OCLP. I'm reporting the results here to save people some time.
I use my OCLP / Ventura Macs every day without issue, and it looked like the Mac Pro 6,1 was going to be another win for OCLP. The MacOS GUI feels faster than under Monterey and everything seemed to work. Indeed, Security Spy was running and capturing video just fine. SS web server works. The big bomb was if one tries to open the SS Browser window. SS will immediately crash with an illegal instruction fault.
SS Probably needs a graphics call that OCLP does not yet implement.
So, stay on Monterey for now rather than attempting with Ventura. SS mostly works, but I'm not giving up the its browser window.
Thanks to SuperDuper's bootable cloning ability, it was pretty easy to revert back to Monterey. I plan to try again after OCLP has its patches further refined. Will report here if/when that happens.

Interesting, I wonder what is gong wrong here with the Browser but as you say it could be something with the GPU. I would suggest that Monterey is perfectly good for running SecuritySpy and you won't get significant (or even any) benefit switching to Ventura anyway on this machine, so perhaps stick with Monterey going forward. But it's certainly great that it's even possible to run these newer systems on these older machines, thanks to OpenCore Legacy Patcher!

Yes, it is a remarkable piece of Ukrainian software. Allows my 2012 & 2013 MacBook Pros to run Ventura at good speed and without any issues in every day use. Really extends the life of otherwise obsoleted machines. It's a bid fiddly to initially install, but after that, you hardly realize it is present. AMD support on the MacPro 6,1 is still early implementation.

OCLP version 0.6.4, which was release today April 14 2023, appears to have solved the crash that would occur in Security Spy Browser window. Still early in testing, but thus far the MacPro 6,1 seems to be working well with Ventura 13.3.1 and OCLP 0.6.4

That's great news - good to know and I'm sure this will be useful for other users too.
