Feature Request - User Functions

I have SecuritySpy system with 32 cameras and I really like it. Half of these cameras are installed in different rooms (one camera per room) to monitor the dogs in my dog kennel. I also have a lot of ControlByWeb devices so I can turn on/off the lights in every room, water the plants, open/close the gate, etc.


It would be great to be able to turn on/off the lights (or open/close gates, etc.) while looking directly at a particular room or place via a live feed from the camera on my iPhone or AppleTV. For example, you can add "User Function #1" and "User Function #2" to the gear button in individual camera view on iPhone. Each manually pressed “User Function" on iPhone will run the corresponding script associated with that camera.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I understand the utility here and I like the idea. We'll see what we can do for a future version of the software, however this is the kind of feature that won't be used by the vast majority of users, so we can't treat it as high priority. But I certainly like the added functionality that would be made possible by this.
