I "View Captured Footage" using the built in SecuritySpy browser and filter for "Motion Capture Movies". If I use the down arrow key to select the video clips, it jumps to the very start of the captured video clip as expected. However, I have my cameras set up to pre-capture 5 seconds.

This means that I have to play 5 seconds into each clip to see what triggered the motion. Is there a way to set preferences so it jumps directly to the motion trigger so I don't have to actually have to play or scroll through every clip?

    If you hold the alt (option) key on the keyboard when selecting a file, it will jump to the time of the actual motion in the file, after the pre-capture time. So this should do exactly what you want.
