Axis C8110 Network Audio Bridge

Has anyone (Ben?) tried connecting an Axis C8110 Network Audio Bridge or similar analog to digital IP solution to SecuritySpy? If it works, would a blank screen with the audio be recorded? If not, I have an older Axis camera with audio where the video circuitry has malfunctioned and only produces a blurred screen, so I suppose that I could repurpose that unit for the same task.

Yup, I know that currently SecuritySpy doesn't have the ability to sync video and audio from two different sources, so this audio only option would be a good bandaid for the time being in an outdoor application.

    Hi Zeigh! Unfortunately at the moment this isn't supported. The only way that SecuritySpy currently supports network audio input is if it's sent along with a camera's video stream. We'll take a look at the possibility of adding support for such a device in the future, but for now this is the situation.
