Avoid Reolink RLC-820A

The 4K stream is supposed to be h265 - except it does not decode correctly. Has the same issue with direct ffmpeg decoding. Reolink does something to the stream probably to make ONLY their NVR work with it...
Just posted for other people to reference some day in the future.

Thanks for the information, this is useful. Reolink does not have a great track record with this. Some users have reported success by updating the firmware to the latest version offered by Reolink, so this may be worth a try for you. Otherwise, a good replacement at a similar price point would be an Amcrest camera.

I've got a Reolink RLC-823A which only uses the H265 codec according to its spec. I don't use an NVR but all the footage I get directly from the SD card is in H264.
