iOS detailed notifications

Sorry if this has been discussed before.
Is it possible for the iOS app to notify when a person or vehicle is detected. Just a simple “person detected at front door” message?

Answering myself here but do I just turn off actions ai for vehicles and leave person threshold at 90 in order to only receive “person detected” notifications?

Yes I think you have worked this out correctly, but to clarify, here is how to achieve what you want:
- Under Preferences > Cameras > Triggers, under "Motion capture AI trigger", either leave both sliders in the off position in order to record all motion, or set both sliders to around 50% in order to only record both humans and vehicles.
- For the "Actions AI trigger", leave the vehicle slider off, and set the human slider to 50%.
- Make sure both Motion Capture mode and Actions mode for this camera are armed (e.g. set to the schedule "Armed 24/7").
With these settings you will get notified of humans only. We recommend a value of 50% for the AI sliders - if you choose a lower value, you will get more false-positive events at the expense of fewer false-negative ones; if you choose a higher value, you will get fewer false-positive events at the expense of more false-negative ones, so it just depends on your preferences here.

We used to recommend 85-90 so it was probably us who put that in your head :) In v5.4 we introduced a new and improved AI, and for that, 50 is generally the optimum.
