LiftMaster Garage Door Integration

Anyone tried and have success integrating a LiftMaster garage door opener with a built-in camera with their SS system? I’m planning to get a new opener and I also want to drop a camera in the garage. I’m assuming the simplest approach is a separate camera, but I’m also thinking it would be nice if there were triggers for video based on the garage door opening rather than movement. I’m also researching LiftMaster’s HomeKit integration, so there might be an opportunity there to integrate an individual camera and opener setup vis the HomeKit helper…?

    With their Home Bridge it looks like you can achieve HomeKit integration. And this seems to work both ways - controlling the door, but also receiving notifications of door operation. This should work in SecuritySpy for triggering recording in any camera based on door opening.

    In terms of their camera, this seems to be a subscription-based add-on, and it's unlikely that this will work with SecuritySpy. So, I would recommend you use only cameras that are listed as compatible on our list of supported cameras.
