Error 500

I am moving SS to a new to me mac mini running Catalina with SS 5.3.4. I have a Wansview camera. I can access it easily at its ip 10.0.1.248. I am configuring using the same set up I used on the older mac and SS 4.2.14. I get Error Communicating with network device in the SS log. Attached are the two set up. What am I missing??

  • Never mind.. must have been a network traffic issue, all is good now

  • 500 is an HTTP "internal server error", so it seems like the camera was refusing to provide the video streaming, and giving this error instead. I'm glad to hear this error seems to have resolved itself. If this happens again, try rebooting the camera.
