Multiple Triggers and Motion Detection Masks

I have a camera looking at my pool. I generally have no mask applied and record any motion the camera sees. I would like to keep this setting

I would like to find a way to apply a mask so that the camera sees the pool cover only and sends me an alert any time the cover moves so I am aware of someone (my kids) are accessing the pool without letting me know.

Is it possible to have essential no mask for general recording and a more limited area defined for an action which would send an email.

If so any help would be much appreciated

    I'm afraid not - as it stands currently, each camera can have only one mask, which applies to both Motion Capture and Actions.

    A workaround for this is to add the camera twice to SecuritySpy using exactly the same device settings. Then you can have different masks for each instance of the camera, with one doing Motion Capture and the other performing actions. If you use the same device settings, SecuritySpy will recognise that it's the same camera, and won't count the additional instance towards your license limit.
