Browser Trash Can

Is there something that needs to be done in order for the browser trash can to become active? It would be great to clean out unneeded archives right there.

    In the Browser, simply select a file on the left, and choose the "Move to Trash" option in the Browser menu (or Command-Delete on the keyboard, the same as in the Finder). The file then goes into the Trash, and when you subsequently close the Browser window, you will be asked if you want to empty the trash (i.e. permanently delete the files) or restore them.
