Applescripting Sound Options?

Is there a way to turn on camera-based microphones when motion is detected but, only that that time? Or turn on a certoan microphone via Applescript?

    I'm afraid not - if you need audio in SecuritySpy, then the camera's microphone must be turned on permanently, with audio continuously streaming to SecuritySpy.

    Is there a way to tie video motion detection together in some way? Something like...
    if motion detected and sound greater than threshold then
    do something
    end if

    Hi @susscrofamorte I don't think this would work very well - I think you would miss a significant quantity of events that you would want to capture. SecuritySpy's motion detection and sound detection work independently, so that either one will trigger a recording.
