iOS notifications no longer showing preview images after moving subnets
Hi Ben,
I recently changed the location of my server on the network to a different subnet (say VLAN 3) than my local iOS device WiFi access point subnet (say VLAN 4). I’ve updated all the port forwarding and confirmed the firewall rules between the VLANs are good, as I can access the server no problem from the iOS app both from the local VLAN 4 as well as WAN.
I tried resetting the iOS notifications and checking for updated support files. The test notification the debug menu reaches the iOS device no problem (with no image, which I assume is normal).
Are there any known or potential issues with the server providing the preview image to iOS devices that are on a local network but a different subnet? (Or perhaps are there any caches or other sticky settings to reset?)
I’m running the latest 5.2.5b10 on latest production Mac OS.
Thanks!

Well the issue appears to have resolved itself after some time. Not sure why, but will report back if it resurfaces.
