How to tell if a singe camera that's added multiple times is only being "processed" once?
As I understand it, if you add a single camera multiple times, Security Spy should know to only "process" the information from the camera once. As in it should only take a single stream from the camera in order to save resources. It should also only count it as one camera.
My problem is that I have one camera that I have added to Security Spy four times because I needed four different motion detection zones (annoying) which control a separate camera and move it to different preset zones. Is there a way to tell for sure that these four cameras are being counted as a single "instance" and using as few resources as possible? I ask because occasionally I'm getting errors for only one of the instances, for example:
"Error from camera "Outdoor 4", it will be closed. (Failed to decompress incoming video frame 22185,-12909 Image data decompression failed - bad data)
The fact that I'll get this error for Outdoor 1-4 randomly (which is the same camera) and all instances don't get the error at the same time, makes me think Security Spy is treating the four cameras as separate cameras.
Is there any way to figure out for sure?

One way to determine this is by licensing: for example, if you have a four-camera license and four physical cameras, and then you add three more instances of one of the cameras using identical device settings, you should see that SecuritySpy allows you to arm these three additional instances. If SecuritySpy were treating them as additional cameras, you wouldn't be able to arm them, and you would see "View Only" indicated for them in the Camera Info window.
Another way to tell is by network bandwidth: open Activity Monitor, click the Network tab, and look at the "Data received/sec" number. Do this when there is no other software running that could be using significant network bandwidth. Compare this figure when you have all four of these instances enabled vs. when you have only one of them enabled (to disable, use the option at Preferences -> Cameras -> Setup -> Enable this camera, then click the Apply Preferences button).
