data uploading

Hi

Looking at my activity monitor and network usage I noticed some significant data uploads. If I quit security spy that upload stops. Suggests to me ss is uploading something. However no uploads are set, no emails set and no web servers etc set.

Wonder what is causing this?

    Hi James,

    SecuritySpy will upload (send) data over the network for the following reasons:

    - Its built-in web interface
    - Using the SecuritySpy iOS app
    - FTP upload of video/images for offsite backup
    - Sending emails
    - Recording to a NAS
    - Sending diagnostic data (if you have enabled this option in the General Preferences)
    - Sending images for algorithm improvement (if you have enabled this option in the General Preferences)

    These last two items will be very low amount of data (maximum a few MB per day).
