I'm trying to setup a cheap Revotech 1706-2-P-16EV2 camera I bought on amazon for $29. nice picture.
It is ONVIF
security spy can detect the camera but I get an error that says, "unexpected data"
anyone seen this error before?

    Could you please try the latest version of SecuritySpy and let me know if you see the same problem?

    If so, please email us and include SecuritySpy's log file (File menu in SecuritySpy -> Open Log).

    I need to add an update because after 8 months I've had what seems to be another component failure on a camera main board (can ping cam OK but the onboard webserver and ONVIF server are complete toast).

    Will update here when I've finished fixing it.

    Camera returned to Amazon for full refund (from them, not the vendor). So these seem to fall into the 'good while they last but your mileage may vary) category.
