Save Image as jpeg

Ben, I use the right click and save as JPEG very often. The file name is always the name of the camera. Subsequent saves will overwrite unless I specify a new file name. I wonder if it could be considered to have the file name time stamped down to the second so one can right click and save and never have to type in the file name with no overwriting occurring. I often save multiple snapshots in succession this way and automatic naming by time would be most helpful. Thanks for a great app. Marty

    Hi Marty, it sounds like AppleScript may be a good solution for you. Check out the "Button Click Image Capture" example script on the SecuritySpy AppleScript Examples page. This will be even easier than the right-click method for saving JPEG images.

    Thanks Ben. I'll do that. I do have some Apple scripting experience albeit small. Sounds like it will do what I need. Thanks much for the suggestion.
