Clarification about sensitivity

Would you mind providing some clarification about the sensitivity slider for motion detection? What does 0 mean? What does 100 mean? I *think* sliding it downward towards 0 means "be less sensitive", but but I have no idea what is happening and why. What's the difference between 24 and 42? 25 and 26?
The current manual reads:
"The sensitivity adjustment allow for variations in camera installation conditions, and whether you want SecuritySpy to capture upon the slightest movement, or instead limit recording to high levels of movement. High values make sure that motion detection will be triggered by even small amounts of motion in the video stream, however this may also result in false-positive triggers."

The higher this value, the more sensitive SecuritySpy is going to be to motion in the video image. A high value means that even small movements will trigger recording - so for example this is useful if you want to capture people moving far away from the camera who are therefore quite small in the frame.
Normally a value of 50 works for most circumstances. If you are finding that SecuritySpy is missing events that you want recorded, turn up the sensitivity. However if you're finding that you are getting lots of false-positive detections, turn down the sensitivity (or increase the trigger time setting). -
Example: My 2 outdoor camera's are set to 30 - fences and other natural barriers keep anyone in my yard to medium distance from the camera. So I get less false positives of things like shadows on sunny/windy days and someone moving into the yard always triggers recording & actions.
My Indoor camera's are mostly set at 50.
