iOS not getting notifications

Hi, I'm a new user to SS and the iOS app, currently in demo mode and so far am loving it, only thing is I'm not receiving motion notifications on my phone. Any thoughts how to fix this? I am running a VPN at home, I did disable "Advertise this web server via Bonjour" in the web preferences of SS. I also tried disconnecting from my VPN to see if that was the issue. Otherwise the app is working fine, I can view my cameras, watch motion recordings etc. Maybe there is something simple I'm just missing? Oh and I have tried deleting the server from server from the app and adding again manually, still nothing.

I'm running these versions:
SS v4.1.4
SS app v1.1.1

    Um yep, didn't have "actions" armed. D'oh! Fixed now and working great! :)
