Security Spy not recording when motion detected.
SecuritySpy ver 4.1.4 is not recording on my Mac. I've completely removed SS, and re-installed the Mac OS to no avail. In an attempt to force it to record, I've turned the sensitivity to 100 and shortened the trigger time to 1 frame. I've got frequent red bar flashing to the top in both the setup preferences and the Camera Info window, but the small red record icon never comes on and there's nothing at all in the "record to" file. The schedule is set for full time arming.

Found my own problem with "scheduling".

Glad to hear you resolved your problem! For anyone else reading: the camera's motion-capture mode must be "armed" for motion-triggered recording to take place. Cameras can be armed manually (via the Control menu) or automatically via a schedule. The Getting Started section of the user manual gives a good overview.
