Imagine, SSpy video-based movement detection triggering zoned activation of Hue lights, and then sleeping them when activity finished. That would be pretty awesome.

You can use an AppleScript to control your Hue lights from camera actions. The Hue is open to all. Just go to the Hue website and visit the Developer section.

there is an open source HomeKit implementation written in node:
https://github.com/nfarina/homebridge

I've used it to Sire control my heating, no reason why you couldn't arm / disarm SS via Siri etc.
