How do bookmarks work? The forum software says I have one thread bookmarked, but I don't know how that happened and I don't know how I to un-bookmark it.
Hmm. If I have http://www.bensoftware.com/forum/discussions showing, there's a "My Bookmarks" link above the discussion list. When I click that, I get a list of the bookmarked discussions. I cannot find anything that looks like a Bookmarks menu or "Edit Bookmarks" link.
Hi Joe - what you're describing is not a feature of this forum, so it must be a feature of your web browser, or some other software you have installed. If you look up right at the top of the screen when using Safari you will see the Bookmarks menu I mentioned above. This menu should contain the options you need to manage your bookmarks.
I see what you mean now. This is not something I've ever seen before and I don't know how you managed to make a forum bookmark! If you go to http://bensoftware.com/forum/discussions/bookmarked, are you able to remove the bookmark there?
It seems the forum isn't configured to allow bookmarks, however you appear to have managed to create one anyway, I'm not sure how. Because bookmarks are turn off, there seem to be no controls to remove them. So please simply ignore it.
