Silly camera question

Just wondering - is it the camera or the app (Security Spy) that determines whether there's sufficient light to do colour vs monochrome video?

  • ...I think this is a camera-specific feature to switch night vision on/off.
  • This functionality is the camera itself; SecuritySpy has no control over this. If you log on to the camera using a web browser (e.g. Safari) you may see some settings related to this (e.g. at what lighting levels it will switch to black & white and then back to colour).
  • Thanks. I had the same thought, but couldn't find any such control.
