Remote camera no longer working

I have a remote camera setup at a second property, has been working fine for a couple of years, footage is recorded remotely at property one using SS. For about the last 48hrs have been unable to see the property two in SS - I can use the cameras own app (Reolink) and view the footage fine so I know the camera itself is connected to the network and working ok, it just cannot be seen by SS. The ip for the trouble camera is via noip.com and their website shows it connected - I have tried adding it as a new camera using the ip address rather than the noip name but that hasn't helped.

I can't think of anything that has changed anywhere over the last few days so am kind of stuck as to how to troubleshoot. Any ideas?

  • Fixed it but will leave this here in case it happens to anyone else - rebooted the camera, didn't work, rebooted the router at both locations,didn't work, rebooted the wifi-extender which the camera connects to - this worked, camera reconnected straightaway.


    Not sure why it happened, nothing had changed at all anywhere but there you go, technology is a wonderful thing...
