Some question from a new user...
Dear Ben,
first of all compliments for your great software.
I have some questions...
#1 I have installed Security Spy on a iMac with 2 users, when users switch I lost video connection on my iSight.
#2 I have one Apexis IP Cam wireless connected but even if I'm not watching it use a lot of Wi-Fi bandwidth making unaccessible from other devices on the same Wi-Fi spot to connect to the internet.
For the rest everything works just fine.
Regards, Mauro

Glad you like the software! To answer your questions:
1. This is a security feature of Mac OS X - the system blocks access to the camera for any background user. If you want SecuritySpy to run within a background user account you must use only network cameras.
2. I would advise reducing the frame rate that the camera is sending video (log on to the camera using a web browser such as Safari to adjust its settings). A frame rate of 5-10 is usually sufficient for general-purpose video surveillance. If this is not enough, then the solution is to use a second wireless access point to create a separate network for the camera(s). You can use an Apple Airport Express for this, though there are many alternatives.
Hope this helps.
For #2 I solve putting the IP CAM on wired network
For #1 have to think about ;-)
