OBS Studio RTSP Stream
I'm pulling some of my cameras into OBS Studio so I can make a single RTSP stream in the layout I would like. I can connect to the output RTSP stream with VLC, but can't get Security Spy to connect to it.
https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-rtspserver.126230/
The address for the RTSP stream is rtsp://192.168.1.102:8554/live
I put the IP address in, and the port number, and put it on manual configuration, then I put the /live in the request box. However SS is never able to connect.
Any ideas?

It sounds like you are on the right track, but the two things to check are:
1. You are putting the port (8554) into the "RTSP port" box and not the "HTTP port" box.
2. You have selected "RTSP" as the Format.
If you are still having problems, check the log file (File menu in SecuritySpy > Open Log) to see if that has any useful information. If you need further help, please email us and include a screenshot of the device settings along with the log file.

I've done both steps correctly. And I've tried all RTSP formats. I emailed you the details, but here they are again. The only info from the log is:
12/28/2021 18:57:16: Error communicating with network device "Front". 5.4.0b1,70900,800 Error from network device. The operation timed out.

A timeout error indicates a lack of response from the server, which normally means that the address or port is set wrong. But, it looks like the details you have entered into SecuritySpy are correct, based on the RTSP URL stated above.
If you open this RTSP URL in VLC (under File menu > Open Network), do you see the video stream successfully there?

Yes, I see it in VLC without issue.
