Analogue cameras

Use standard analogue CCTV cameras.

Video inputs

Use FireWire DV inputs such as the AVDC-55 and/or USB inputs such as the ProView to connect the cameras to your Mac. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to connect the cameras to a network, the Axis 240Q is a good choice.

Cabling

You will need coaxial cabling for each camera and quad processor output, and a “BNC->RCA” adapter to connect to each FireWire input.

Mac

Any Mac with a FireWire port can run this system. You will need about 18 GB of free disk space per camera.
