Scalable Browser Scrubbing Request
  • One thing that is very difficult to do with the browser is accurately scrubbing through video. A tiny motion of the trackpad shifts by quite a bit of time. A zoom in/out of the time scale over which dragging occurs would make it much easier to examine video.

For an example of how a scalable time scale for dragging, Amadeus, an audio editing app, is a perfect example of scalable time scale control
  • Thanks for the suggestion, by using the command-plus and command-minus keyboard shortcuts you can easily zoom in and out of the timeline, does this do what you want?
  • Yes. That does what I need. Didn't notice those keyboard controls. It's an important feature that I didn't realize was present. Maybe a pair of little +/- "mountain" buttons in the browser time would make that capability more evident.
