Can't get Axis Q1614 camera audio into SS
  • I setup an Axis Q1614, turned on audio but SS sees no audio. Help!

  • I'm not sure why this would be the case - SecuritySpy does support audio from all Axis cameras, and it certainly looks like you have everything set up correctly (thanks for the screenshots!).

    The first thing to check is that you have the latest camera firmware version installed on your camera.

    Secondly, look in the camera's settings under Video & Audio -> Video Stream and Video & Audio -> Stream Profiles, to see if there are any audio options there that need enabling, for the camera to send audio along with its video stream.

    If that doesn't fix it, please can you email us the Log file that you will find in the SecuritySpy folder within your Documents folder, as this will hopefully tell us what is going wrong.
  • Problem Solved, in addition to setting up

    Video & Audio Settings -> Audio Settings (as shown in previous screenshot)

    I also need to enable the following

    Video & Audio Settings -> Video Stream -> Audio tab -> Enable Audio
