OSX
Information
When you purchase BTV or BTV Pro you are entitled to use both
the Classic and OSX versions of the software. The OSX versions
are Carbonized, so they can be run under Mac OS 8.1 or later with
CarbonLib
installed (you might want to do this to take advantage of the
global floating window feature available in the Carbon versions).
Note
that to use BTV on OSX you must also have OSX driver software
for your video input device.
OSX
webcam driver software
IOXperts produce universal
driver software for FireWire and USB webcams under Mac OS X. Their
driver software has been tested extensively with BTV and is highly
recommended.
Terms
and conditions
BTV costs US$20 and BTV Pro costs US$40. Both products are shareware
which means that you can download and try them out for free for
a trial period of 15 days, but if you continue to use the software
you must register and pay the shareware fee. All features are
available before registration but there is a periodic reminder
message; once registered you will get a personal registration
code that will unlock the software. It is very easy and safe to
register
online with a credit card (using a secure server), although
you can also use the "Register" application included
in the software download to pay by card, cheque, or cash.
